baroque, rococo, byzantine, cuzco combined. this is actually a fulfillment of my promise to this saint in the picture –>that I would make an equally beautiful painting of him after what i did to his picture last time 🙂
the striations of the unsized wood gave this painting this sort of a rustic feel to it. –tips on how to properly protect it flooded in from some of my generous friends who know more about this stuffs ….
from the traditional eggwhite down to a more commercial spraynet and fixative sprays and yesss ELMER’s GLUE, too.
